A King’s Order-in-Council to provide for the exercise by the King of his prerogative of mercy.

1. Short title

This King’s Order-in-Council may be cited as the Prerogative of Mercy Order, 1973.

2. Prerogative of mercy

Section 92 of the Constitution repealed by the Proclamation and decrees contained therein made by the King to the citizens of Swaziland on the 12th April, 1973 is hereby re­instated and shall continue to be of full force and effect:Provided that the word “shall” in subsection (4) thereof is replaced by the word “may”.
