You have been convicted of culpable homicide. This is a serious offence. I will take into account and in your favour the circumstances surrounding the commission of the offence the fact that the stabbing occurred in the context of the fight. I will also have to take into account that you the first offender. In the circumstances I sentence you to five years imprisonment two years of which will be suspended for 3 years in condition that you are not found to have committed a similar offence or an offence in respect of which violence is an element during the period of suspension.
